Seriously Playing Characters in Drama Grid, Kim A Joong Willing to Study at the Police Station

South Korean actress, Kim A Joong, is back with a new drama Grid. This drama is his first drama after 3 years of hiatus.

In 2019, Kim A Joong acted in action/crime genre films, The Bad Guys: Reign of Chaos. Even though they both play the genre actionKim A Joong admitted that he wanted to be really serious about his role in the drama this time.

Drama Grid which aired by Disney Plus Hotstar raised Kim A Joong’s name as police detective Jung Sae Byeok. In a recent interview, Kim A Joong revealed that he really did research on the profession in dramas Grid that.

“This is my first time playing a police role. Because this is the first time I want to display things related to this work properly. So I visited the police station to understand the work environment, responsibilities, and pressures that homicide detectives face.” said A Joong in an email interview (12/4/2022).

For your information, Grid is an action drama, science fiction packed with a suspenseful storyline (mystery). This 10-episode drama tells the story of investigating a haunted figure (the ghosts) who allegedly saved a serial murder case in 1997. The ghost is known to have disappeared and reappeared 24 years later.

Grid featuring well-known actors in Korea, such as Seo Kang Joon, Kim A Joong, Lee Si Young, Kim Moo Yeol, and Kim Sung Kyun. Drama Grid can be enjoyed through platform Disney Plus Hotstar and has been airing since February 16, 2022.
