Duni Artis – Ziva Magnolya has a reason why he shifted his direction to acting by starring in his film called ‘Pulang’ after his success in the music world.

Ziva Magnolya admitted that the script from the film Pulang was very good and made him want to get out of his comfort zone, namely by going into the world of acting.

“I like the synopsis, the story is good and I’m sure it has a lot of meaning. There is one good sentence from the conversation between the child and the mother,” said Ziva Magnolya.

“This film is about family, it relates to me, just like most people,” he said.

The woman, who is now 21 years old, revealed that she did not know who she would be playing with after accepting the offer for the film by director Azhar Kinoi Lubis.

When she knew she was going to be a co-star and had a lot of scenes with Ringgo Agus Rahman, Ziva was afraid that her abilities would not match what her co-star wanted.

“Yes, I’m afraid to meet seniors. I’m afraid, like I’m not the type of person who can talk first and it’s hard to connect with people,” he said.

“When we met in person, it was really fun. So I’m not afraid at all,” he continued.

Even though he is not afraid, it is not easy for the singer who graduated from Indonesian Idol to start a career in acting because he does not have any background in the acting world.

“When reading, I thought that I would just read, no need to use expressions. It turns out that there is Mark too, we are friends. It just feels weird acting like that, they usually sing together, now imagine Mark being a girlfriend, huh??? It’s weird,” he explained.

When trying to act after reading, Ziva felt strange and a little dry. Fortunately in reading he continues to have discussions so that his acting runs smoothly.

“First, take a scene when you get out of the car. Very stiff, thinking where to go. Even though it should be taken casually, wherever the camera goes, the camera will follow it,” he said.

Ziva Magnolya feels that the world of acting is very different from her music profession. He felt himself to be perfect because it would be watched by many people.

“Even though he’s been in front of the camera many times, the excitement is different. Even though they are often on air, it’s also very different,” said Ziva Magnolya.

Ziva Magnolya admitted that he had to turn down the offer of a gig schedule to complete the film Pulang, his first debut in the world of cinema.

“The filming was 6 days. Because of that, I refused 2 scheduled off air gigs,” said Ziva Magnolya.

He said that the 2 off air stages he refused were tantamount to releasing hundreds of millions of money from his job as a singer.

“But it’s worth it,” he said.

The singer revealed the meaning worth it. He feels that he has learned a lot from the world of acting even though he has refused 2 gigs.

“Worth it, so it’s fine. It’s worth it to be happy and get the experience, it’s not a matter of money,” he said.

Despite losing hundreds of millions in income, Ziva is happy that she can jump into the world of acting and hone new talents.

“You could say, I’m still interested in movies. But, if I focus, I still sing. Do not rule out the possibility that he will play a movie again, “said Ziva.

The 21-year-old woman admitted that Rindu’s role as the eldest child was quite challenging. Ziva is actually the youngest child in real life.
