President Joe Biden then spoke about how June is an important month in the United States, as there is an emphasis on raising awareness about the hate crimes that Asian Americans face.

“Thank you for having us in the White House! It was a great honor to discuss an important matter with @POTUS (Joe Biden’s Twitter account) today. We are very grateful to #BTSARMY for making everything possible,” BTS wrote.

RM thanked President Joe Biden for taking action on this crucial issue of race crime and working to reduce the amount of anti-Asian hate by signing a new law.

“We would like to thank you, sincerely, for your (President Joe Biden’s) decision such as signing the COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act into law. So we just wanted to help out a little bit and we really appreciate the efforts of the White House and the government to find a solution,” RM said.

President Joe Biden ended the speech by telling BTS that so many people care about their words, and the influence they have.

“People really care about what you say, and what you do is good for everyone. It’s not just your great talent, it’s the message you communicate. That’s the important thing,” said US President Joe Biden.

President Joe Biden also said that there will be more of his conversations with BTS shared in the future. This is a good sign that BTS is well received at the White House.
