NCT Dream Jeno and Chenle have been declared positive for Covid-19, SM Entertainment cancels group activities

Latest Kpop – Bad news must be accepted by NCTzens, after SM Entertainment conveyed a statement that 2 members from NCT Dream tested positive for COVID-19.

The two members who tested positive were Jeno and Chenle on June 2, 2022 yesterday. Both of them tested positive for COVID-19 after carrying out tests before carrying out their morning activities.

All NCT Dream Activities Cancellation This Week

It was reported by SM Entertainment, that Jeno underwent an independent test before starting his activities in the morning, but was declared negative. However, when he was about to hold a video call bro signing, Jeno felt that his body was not feeling well. Jeno then underwent another independent COVID-19 test and the results were positive.

SM Entertainment then said that other NCT Dream members also underwent rapid anigen tests for prevention, the results were that apart from Jeno, Chenle also tested positive. Meanwhile, for the other members, the results of the rapid antigen were negative.

SM Entertainment also confirmed that Jeno and Chenle had received three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. After both tested positive, they were both then self-quarantined under the direction of the medical authorities.

SM Entertainment then stated that there was a change schedule for NCT Dream’s comeback promotions and cancel all promotional activities for this week.

SM Entertainment said “Chenle and Jeno have received three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. They stopped all group activities to undergo the self-quarantine recommended by the medical team.”

“Therefore, all of our NCT Dream schedules this week are reluctant to cancel, we ask for understanding for the fans.” he added
