Korean Drama Today’s Webtoon Starring Kim Sejeong, Nam Yoon Su, and Choi Daniel Will Air Soon

Drakor Update – SBS has announced the official premiere date of the Korean drama Today’s Webtoon, featuring an upcoming drama starring Kim Sejeong, Nam Yoon Su, and Choi Daniel.

Kim Sejeong previously played in Gugudan and IOI. Nam Yoon-su played in the dramas “Extracurricular” and “The King’s Affection”. While Choi Daniel played in “The Ghost Detective” and “School 2013”.

The behind-the-scenes production team of Today’s Webtoon shared that the cast recently completed script reading and will soon begin filming for the drama. “The cast recently finished script reading and will soon begin filming,” they said.

The show team also added that the drama will air on July 29, which is certainly good news for Korean Drama lovers.

“Kim Sejeong, Choi Daniel, Nam Yoon-su, and other main characters created a warm and fun office drama through their character similarities and perfect sincerity,” said the production team.

Getting to Know Today’s Webtoon Characters

The upcoming Friday-Saturday drama SBS Today’s Webtoon is a Korean remake of the popular 2016 Japanese drama “Sleepeeer Hit!”. This drama will tell the story of On Ma Eum, a former judo athlete who joins the webtoon editorial department as a new employee and struggles to become a true webtoon editor in the midst of the competitive South Korean webtoon industry.

Kim Se-jeong will play Oh Ma-eum, a former judo athlete who works in the editorial department of a webtoon after suffering an injury, while Nam will play Goo Joon-young, who struggles to adjust to his job after working for a popular IT company.

Meanwhile, Choi Daniel will play the role of Seok Ji-hyung, a deputy editor who later becomes a mentor for On Ma-eum. The show will be directed by Jo Soo-won, who is best known for his work with Doctor John and Still 17.

Seok Ji Hyung, deputy editor of the editorial department of neon webtoon, announced the good news of his return to the small screen after 4 years. Seok Ji hyung is the one who makes jokes or bets with a poker face who doesn’t know what he is thinking, to lighten the mood of the editorial department.

Nam Yoon Su plays Goo Joon Young, a new employee in the webtoon editorial department who has an impressive IQ of 150 and aims to be the best of the best. After living easily his entire life, Goo Joon Young faces difficulties for the first time when he can’t adjust to his new placement in the new webtoon department after working at a famous IT company.
