Girls Generation is Filming Reality Show to Prepare for Come Back on 15th Anniversary

Kpop World – Girls’ Generation is currently filming their reality show ahead of their 15th anniversary comeback. This reality show was made to welcome their comeback.

Fans were excited to see the girl group filming and spending more time together, and according to their team, on June 9, 2022, Girls Generation will air the reality show on JTBC in early July to celebrate their 15th anniversary.

They made their first debut in 2007, to be precise on July 16, 2007. They are said to be the pioneers of South Korean girl groups whose names soared in the early 2010s.

Previously, Girls’ Generation announced their plans to make their first comeback as a full group after 5 years and announced their appearances on various broadcasts and solo reality shows.

Girls Generation is Still Filming

On May 17, 2022, SM Entertainment announced that the girl group was preparing to release a new album in August, marking their 15th anniversary since their debut in 2007.

Following their sixth studio album “Holiday Night” which was released in August 2017, the comeback in 2022 will be their first comeback with all eight members, after five years of not releasing a new album.

Along with the release of their album, Girls’ Generation will also be greeting fans through their own TV programs and reality shows. Girls’ Generation’s Reality Show will be released in July ahead of their official comeback in the music industry.

“SNSD was seen filming at Hanaro Mart, Donghae city. The OP recognized taeyeon, yoona, and sooyoung at first before noticing the other members too, saying that SNSD is prettier in real life. But, the OP only saw 7 members at the location,” wrote the netizen.

Seen the members have started their shooting at the Hanaro Mart, to be precise in the city of Donghae. The members looked very excited, but there were only seven members there.

This new reality show is created with the concept that Girls’ Generation, the legendary girl group that will mark their 15th debut anniversary this year, experience the world of diverse entertainment. This program is expected to show the friendly charms of the Girls’ Generation members.

The members’ stylists have also shared posts on their social media, which further shows how far filming has gone.

“Tiffany’s hairdresser, Sunny’s hairdresser, Hyoyeon’s hairdresser, and Taeyeon’s hairdresser, the girls are still filming today around Samcheok, Gangwon,” wrote the netizen.

Fans continue to monitor their activities regarding filming the reality show, until June 9, 2022, the SNSD team is still filming.

Seohyun Doesn’t Appear at the Filming Location

The seven members were seen filming around South Korea without Seohyun because they were doing another shoot. Seohyun is currently filming for her new drama, “Jinxed at First”.

Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun plays Seul Bi in “Jinxed First” who has the special ability to see the future of everyone she touches.

“Jinxed at First” tells the story of two protagonists who live against the fate given to them. Seul Bi, the lucky man and Gong Soo Kwang, the poor man, are destined to meet as if they needed each other.

Attention is focused on what kind of fantasy story Seul Bi and Gong Soo Kwang will portray as they carve their own path with the luck that is bestowed upon them.

Remembering Girls Generation (SNSD)

Girls’ Generation consists of eight members – Taeyeon, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona and Seohyun. Formed by SM Entertainment, the group initially debuted with the ninth member, Jessica who later left the ensemble in 2014. Some of their hit songs include, Girls’ Generation, Gee, I Got a Boy, The Boys, Mr. Taxi, and Oh ! among others.

During last year’s reunion, the Girls’ Generation appeared on Yoo Quiz on The Block and talked about their fellow members. Yoona opened up about how the younger generation had never heard of the group.

“A lot of people told me they enjoyed watching us and were happy to see us again. However, now there are children who don’t really know Girls’ Generation,” said Yoona.

“I think there are kids out there who don’t realize that Taeyeon from ‘Amazing Saturday’ and Yoona from ‘Exit’ are from the same group,” Yoona added.
