Appearing in the First Episode of Shooting Stars Gets a Low Rating, Why?

News Drakor – For lovers of Korean dramas, of course, no stranger to this drama. Shooting Stars is a tvN drama starring Lee Sung Kyung and Kim Young Dae. This drama will show their first episode, Friday (22/4/2022).

Both Lee Sung Kyung and Kim Young Dae are both known to be popular among fans.

Previously Lee Sung Kyung himself had played a series of famous dramas, such as Cheese In Trap, Weight Fairlight Kim Bok Joo, About Time, until Dr. Romantic 2.

Meanwhile, Kim Young Dae is famous through the dramas he has starred in, such as Extraordinary You, The Penthouse.

This rating is still far behind SBS TV dramas, namely Again My Life nor tomorrow.

However, loyal viewers are still impatiently waiting for the second episode of Shooting Stars drama. Because comeback of the main characters, Lee Sung Kyung and Kim Young Dae, has been eagerly awaited by fans.

Shooting Stars Are In Strict Competition

At almost the same time, SBS TV was broadcasting several other popular dramas. Including tomorrow which also airs on Netflix and Again My Life.

tomorrow itself, starring Ro Woon and Park Ja Kyung, tells about the journey of the grim reaper. The drama received a rating increase from 2.7% to 3.6% in episodes 7 and 8.

Whereas Again My Life played by Lee Joon Gi. Adapting the story from the Webtoon of the same title, drama Again My Life got the highest rating in episode five, 9.7%. In the previous episode Again My Life get attention to get a rating of 7.0%.

Shooting Stars seems to be competing with the two dramas. Although in the first episode, Shooting Stars only received a rating of 1.6%. But the audience is still waiting comeback Lee Sung Kyung and Kim Young Dae.

Romantic Comedy

Drama Shooting Stars carries a fresh romantic comedy genre for the audience. The drama that airs on Fridays and Saturdays tells the love story of artist Gong Tae Sung (Kim YoungDae) who has a confusing relationship with Oh Han Byul’s character (Lee Sung-kyung).

Both experienced love hate relationship when met at the same workplace. Shooting Stars will feature the daily lives of workers at Star Force Entertainment. Although the focus of the story still leads to the relationship between Gong Tae Sung and Oh Han Byul.

“I feel close to the storyline, because this drama depicts the realistic details and hardships that my agency went through, who was always by my side. I think it’s 95 percent relevant to the real world of entertainment.” said Lee Sung Kyung quoted from Allkpop (23/4/2022).

Star-studded

As the title implies, Shooting Stars will present the story of an artist who is full of light. This drama of course tells the daily life of the agency and the person behind its success.

Not only Lee Sung Kyung and Kim Young Dae, this drama will also star several other well-known artists. Yoon Jong Hoon, Kim Yoon Hye (Vincenzo)Lee Jung Shin (CN Blue)and Sojin (Girl’s Day).

Waiting for Fans

Welcoming the premiere of the premiere episode, Lee Sung Kyung, the main character, uploaded a video cut of the scene. Through his Instagram account @heybiblee, he showed a short 14-second video wearing a graduation uniform and a toga.

“Shooting Stars is in its first room today from filming. Thank you for being such a precious and shining star from the beginning of the shoot until now. And I hope it will be like that for those of you who are watching it now.” wrote Lee Sung Kyung on Saturday (23/4/2022).

Lee Sung Kyung greets fans. He also asked fans to watch the drama he was playing.

Responding to the upload, the fans immediately wrote various positive comments. Not a few who gave him support.
