“She will be Putu Laksmi, a village princess from Bali. What is wrong with her? I took Mayang’s face, she was made a woman from a village in Bali. The faces of Balinese village girls are all natural,” he said.

This film is planned to start shooting after Eid 2022. Leak Kajeng Kliwon itself is a horror genre film that tells a true story as well as a folklore in Bali.

The director of the film was inspired by a book that reveals the history of Leak in Bali. “This story is based on a true story. So I am very interested in bringing it to the big screen,” continued Mimi Jegon.
