Song Min Ho revealed that when he didn’t talk about his mental condition with the other WINNER members.

He revealed this when appearing with his group on the show ‘Oh Eun Young’s Golden Clinic’.

“I’ve never spoken about this, but at the end of 2017, my panic disorder symptoms made me want to die. I couldn’t breathe, and I felt like I was going to pass out, it was really bad,” he explained.

“Because of that, I started going to the hospital. I was diagnosed with panic disorder and manic-depressive disorder, so I took medication to help with my mental health and have been receiving treatment.”

Song Min Ho constantly surprises everyone because things happened at the peak of his success, when he promoted his solo debut and appeared on the programs ‘New Journey to the West’ and ‘Kang’s Kitchen’.

“After filming was over, I went out and cried without anyone knowing and then came back. If I don’t shoot, I feel like my life is like a tragedy.”

“I’m used to trying not to expose my ‘weak’ image. Actually, rather than not wanting to talk, I think I’d rather not have the courage to tell my condition,”

“I’m a person who receives so much love, has fans and friends, and I just need to be happy, but I’m worried that nothing else will make me that happy,” he added.

Song Min Ho also talked about his family’s circumstances, sharing that his father had been hospitalized for a long time and his health was deteriorating.

“I’m not the type to rely on family. My role is as the head of the family, so even though my family is very valuable, I don’t think that my family is a nest where I can express my heart,” continued Song Min Ho.

After hearing Min Ho’s story, psychiatrist Dr. Oh Eun Young then replied, “You can’t avoid suffering in life. However, revealing and sharing stories with those around you is a positive thing.”

“You (Mino) are someone who feels that promotion and artistic are very important. But, no matter how talented you are, no one can be creative 24 hours a day or 365 days a year. Meanwhile, Song Min Ho is a person who thinks things like that are very important, so I think he feels pressured to not be involved with art anymore.”

“He was afraid that his ideas would fade. You should take a break to get your inspiration again, but, it seems you think life is meaningless if your artistic energy doesn’t soar, huh? This is very worrying because Min Ho has big worries about ‘What will happen if I become a mediocre person?’ And when you’re repeatedly stimulated by thoughts like that, your brain feels tired.”
